About the Position: Associate Consultant, Healthcare We are seeking an experienced Associate Consultant to join our team, acting as a client advocate and an extension of our client's team. As an Associate Consultant, you will work with clients in the healthcare space, providing critical support and analysis to help them navigate the complex landscape of healthcare policy. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving success, and your passion for healthcare-specific policy will enable you to make a meaningful impact. You will be a key participant in our clients' FiscalNote experience, proactively seeking and creating solutions to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities: Actively collaborate across multiple teams to deliver tailored solutions and support to clients Analyze and synthesize legislation and policy at the federal, state, and local levels for clients, providing data-driven insights and recommendations Deliver written analysis and professional communication to clients, ranging from Analyst to Executive levels, ensuring clear and concise messaging Use and analyze data to understand, interpret, and visualize quantitative research and insights, driving informed decision-making Manage and execute on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines with high attention to detail Help create and scope tailored solutions to pair with the FiscalNote product suite, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value for clients Join client calls and meetings to support the sales of professional services products, providing expert guidance and support Own the functional aspects of client projects, including documentation of requirements and timelines, communication with clients on status, and delivery of work product Become an expert in our current products and solutions, contributing to the development of new technical and professional services products and driving innovation Communicate client and product-related feedback to product, engineering, and sales teams, ensuring continuous improvement and refinement About You: Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will have a strong and diverse skillset, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving success. You will be a self-motivated, energetic, and creative problem-solver, with a passion for healthcare-specific policy and a keen interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in research, government, and/or consulting, specifically in healthcare policy A Bachelor's degree in political science, government, economics, public health, or a related subject Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional organization and time-management skills A strong interest in the intersection of politics, policy, and technology, with a keen eye for data-driven insights and analysis Policy experience to assess and analyze laws at multiple levels of government on behalf of clients Experience analyzing data and conveying concise, targeted insights to drive informed decision-making Strong independent research skills, with the ability to learn new things quickly and adapt to changing circumstances Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Advanced degree in a related field, such as a Master's in Public Health or a related subject Experience working with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or SQL Knowledge of healthcare policy and legislation, including the Affordable Care Act and other relevant laws and regulations Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FiscalNote, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
