About the Role As an Architect at Disney, you'll play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of all structural components of offices within A&FE support regions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring projects to life, from concept to completion, while ensuring compliance with California building regulations and construction guidelines. Your expertise will help drive the success of our projects, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting initiatives, including shops, rides, hotels, shows, and more. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with various stakeholders, including FAM, WDI, Amusement, and Activities teams, to develop and implement project plans Provide technical expertise and guidance on architectural design, execution, and stewardship Develop and maintain project scope, timelines, and budgets Review and analyze designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant codes and park standards Serve as the owner's representative, providing input on constructability, efficiency, and long-term viability Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing Essential Qualifications California State Designer Permit 2-4 years of work experience as an authorized Draftsman in related design fields, with at least 2 years of field-related experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Strong understanding of all phases of design and construction Knowledge of local codes and national standards Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with Disneyland School Program or Temporary position Previous experience working on Disney projects or in a related industry Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Disney, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
