Key Responsibilities Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AP Microeconomics and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions to encourage student participation and engagement. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and methods of instruction to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students, providing individualized support and guidance. Essential Qualifications and Skills A 4-year undergraduate degree (BA, BS) or higher in a relevant field, such as economics, business, or education. A minimum of 2 years of direct teaching or tutoring experience, preferably in AP Microeconomics or a related subject. Reliable transportation (although remote work is currently in place due to COVID-19). Availability to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and management. Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to support remote teaching and learning. Preferred Qualifications and Skills A master's degree or higher in economics or a related field.
