About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Tennent, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule. We offer the highest pay rates among substitute providers, with up to $190 for day-to-day assignments and more for long-term assignments. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and support you need to excel in the classroom and grow as an educator. Key Responsibilities Teach a variety of subjects and grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge Essential Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references with one by a previous direct supervisor NJ Substitute Credential Background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
