About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Substitute Teacher to join our team in Caldwell, NJ. As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience on your own schedule, working with a variety of students and schools. Key Responsibilities Teach a variety of subjects and grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, adapting to the needs of each classroom and student Manage classroom behavior, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school administrators, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and technologies Essential Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor NJ Substitute Credential Background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
