Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality instruction to students in the absence of their regular teacher Create engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment Provide individualized support to students as needed, including those with special needs Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of instruction Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits Three professional references with one by a previous direct supervisor NJ Substitute Credential Background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
