About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team in Peachtree City, GA. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills in infants Provide a safe and healthy environment that meets the physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of our students Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration Plan and implement activities that foster creativity, self-esteem, and social skills in infants Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support individual needs Maintain accurate records of student development, including progress reports and parent-teacher conference notes Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive educational program Essential Qualifications Ability to pass a background screening Willingness to obtain CDA certification Completion of ongoing training, both in-person and online (minimum of 20 hours per week) Preferred Qualifications CDA or higher certification CPR and First Aid certification One or more years of experience working with infants in an early childhood education setting Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Commitment to providing high-quality education and care to infants Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Fayette Early Learning Academy, we are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of our staff.
