Tutor Position Details As a tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction and support to students of all ages. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a focus on reading and comprehension skills development. Prior teaching experience is not required, but a passion for education and a commitment to excellence are essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group instruction, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership Facilitate the use of curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment Manage client records electronically using a computer Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximize learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner Possess excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills, and basic computer skills Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, or actively pursuing a degree is acceptable Excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills Basic computer skills and ability to type notes about student performance Passion for helping others reach their potential Availability Monday - Friday Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching or tutoring experience Experience working with students with learning challenges Familiarity with educational software and technology What We Offer At Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, we believe in investing in our employees to ensure their success.
