Job Summary We are looking for an experienced AMS Modeling Engineer to develop accurate and efficient models for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Your expertise in circuit modeling and simulation will be crucial in driving the success of our products. Key Responsibilities As an Analog Mixed-Signal Modeling Engineer, your key responsibilities will include: Developing accurate behavioral and electrical models for mixed-signal circuits, including SerDes, PLLs, memory interfaces, and data converters Verifying the performance and accuracy of the developed models against circuit-level simulations and measurements Optimizing and refining models to ensure accuracy while maintaining efficient simulation performance Collaborating closely with system architects and designers to understand circuit specifications, design intent, and performance requirements Creating clear and comprehensive documentation for the developed models, including specifications, usage guidelines, and limitations Contributing to the development of modeling methodologies, best practices, and automation tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of circuit modeling Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Strong experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit modeling, design, or architecture Solid understanding of behavioral modeling techniques, model parameter extraction, and model calibration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and optimize complex circuit models Innovation: Enthusiasm for exploring new modeling methodologies and techniques to improve circuit design and verification processes Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project requirements and priorities Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: BSEE/MSEE with minimum 3 years of industry experience Experience with AMS design, architecture, or modeling Knowledge of circuit simulation tools and methodologies Familiarity with Apple's products and technologies Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills in analog and mixed-signal circuit modeling and simulation Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities Enthusiasm for innovation and exploring new modeling methodologies and techniques Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Apple, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
