Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Customer Care Representative, you will be the first point of contact for American Airlines customers, providing timely and accurate information, resolving issues, and offering support to ensure a seamless and positive experience. Sales & Reservations: Assist customers in making reservations, purchasing tickets, and understanding fare structures and policies. Technical Assistance: Help customers navigate the American Airlines website, mobile app, and other digital tools to enhance their travel experience. Customer Advocacy: Act as a representative of the company by maintaining a positive and professional attitude, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Documentation: Record customer interactions and follow up on unresolved issues to ensure prompt resolution. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Prior experience in customer service, particularly in the travel or airline industry, is preferred but not required. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new software quickly. Multilingual abilities are a plus (especially Spanish, French, or Mandarin).
