Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with Amazon 1P experience to manage and grow our global business. As an Amazon Account Director, you will leverage your experience working with Amazon vendor managers and agencies to drive long-term strategy and execute day-to-day operations. Collaboration with other departments, such as sales, sales operations, and product development, will be crucial to your success. You will be responsible for meeting quarterly sales objectives, analyzing sales patterns, and identifying trends and anomalies for review.

Key Responsibilities

Dare to Succeed: Achieve quarterly sales objectives and contribute to the growth of our global business.
Think Global: Manage and grow our business in Europe, Canada, Japan, and the US, ensuring a holistic approach to our global sales strategy.
Do it Profitably: Balance top-line success with bottom-line profitability, ensuring that our business remains competitive and sustainable.
Develop and Execute Marketing Campaigns: Create and execute effective marketing campaigns, including Amazon Ads, Amazon Business, and tier 1 promotion execution, to drive sales and growth.
Subject Matter Expertise: Stay up-to-date with Amazon's changing business operations and recommend commensurate updates to our business strategy.
Collaboration and Communication: Manage our agency resources, collaborate with internal teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure overall sales success.
Analyze and Optimize: Analyze sales patterns, identify trends and anomalies, and provide insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.


Essential Qualifications

Proven Amazon 1P Experience: Demonstrated experience managing Amazon's 1P (reseller) relationship, with a strong understanding of Vendor Central and Amazon's business operations.
Quarterly Sales Goals: Proven track record of meeting quarterly sales goals and driving business growth.
Financial Acumen: Strong financial analysis skills, including profitability analysis of Amazon's different ordering types (run rate versus Spectra versus direct import).
Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented, diligent, and organized, with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and anomalies.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, communicate, and collaborate with internal teams, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Ecommerce Experience: General ecommerce experience and marketplace knowledge beyond Amazon are a plus.
Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business or marketing is considered a plus but is not required.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the thermal and sensing technology industry is an asset, but not required.
