**Key Responsibilities**

As an Aircraft Support Mechanic at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of aircraft interiors and other areas as needed. Your duties will include:

* Performing all work activities in accordance with established laws, regulations, standards, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Conducting inspections to locate damage, defects, or wear that may affect safety, reliability, or customer experience, reporting issues as appropriate.
* Recommending replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment based on inspection.
* Reporting issues, malfunctions, unusual wear, or damage to appropriate personnel, as required.
* Testing machinery, mechanical equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning.
* Installing, removing, or modifying aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications.
* Repairing worn, defective, or damaged parts or components (e.g., seat gears, tray tables, wiring/electrical), using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
* Troubleshooting equipment or systems operation problems.
* Interpreting discrepancies or logs (written or verbal) to understand history and nature of issue, to troubleshoot issue, and to identify required next steps (e.g., fix, defer, replace).
* Reading and interpreting technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, repairs, or other work activities.
* Maintaining repair logs, documenting all preventative and corrective aircraft maintenance activities.
* Interpreting and using specifications, drawings, blueprints diagrams, schematics, or flow charts to determine operational methods or sequences and to complete work activities.
* Researching manuals, flight logs, or other technical resources to gather information needed to complete work activities.
* Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* Completion of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved aircraft mechanic training program or equivalent.
* Possession of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate or equivalent.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Ability to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or repair.
* Familiarity with aircraft systems and components.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
* Experience with technical manuals and guidelines.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
