About the Role
We're looking for a talented AI Data Engineer to drive our GenAI initiatives forward, focusing on emerging technologies and innovative solutions. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a forward-thinking strategy for GenAI, creating cutting-edge prototypes, and architecting large-scale backend systems. Your expertise will be crucial in advancing our AI capabilities and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for GenAI, focusing on emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
Create detailed roadmaps for GenAI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
Lead the creation of cutting-edge prototypes to explore new algorithms, techniques, and open-source technologies.
Design and optimize large-scale backend systems, prioritizing performance, scalability, and low latency.
Develop and implement advanced algorithms, particularly in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and Agentic workflows.
Ensure high standards of code quality through rigorous code reviews and refactoring to enhance modularity and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Solution Architects, and engineering teams, to translate prototypes into scalable solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation within the team.
Work closely with architects to secure design approvals and ensure cohesive system architecture.
Create compelling demos to showcase new features and innovations to stakeholders and potential customers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research papers and publications in the field of Generative AI, integrating cutting-edge techniques into projects.
Advocate for and implement ethical AI practices, ensuring that AI solutions are fair, transparent, and unbiased.
Establish robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the performance of AI models in production.


Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in AI and data engineering, with a focus on GenAI technologies. The ideal candidate will possess:

7+ years of experience in AI, data engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in GPT for NLP, AI, ML algorithms for predictive analytics, cloud-to-cloud integrations, and GraphQL.
Experience with Generative AI technologies, including RAG systems, Agentic workflows, or open-source frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Strong skills in AWS, Azure, GCP, and designing scalable AI architectures.
A proven track record of developing and launching large-scale deep learning solutions.
Extensive expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Transformer models, and Generative AI.
A strong enthusiasm for exploring the latest advancements in AI and related technologies.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading teams of engineers to deliver autonomously on large, multi-functionally driven projects.
