Key Responsibilities Deliver Engaging Math Lessons: Develop and deliver captivating and interactive math lessons in accordance with the camp's curriculum, ensuring an engaging learning experience for every participant. Track Student Progress: Track and assess student progress throughout the duration of the camp, providing constructive feedback to enhance their comprehension of mathematical concepts. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and advanced problem-solving methodologies, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You'll also need to be passionate about motivating and inspiring students in a dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere. Mathematical Expertise: Profound understanding of mathematical concepts and advanced problem-solving methodologies. Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 6-12. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with students and fellow instructors. Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related STEM discipline (candidates pursuing or holding a graduate degree are highly favored). Math Contest Experience: Experience instructing math to students in the specified grade range, with familiarity with math contests such as AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME.
