Job Overview As an Activity Sponsor for Perfect Pals, you'll play a vital role in shaping the extracurricular activity program and providing instruction, leadership, and guidance to students. You'll be responsible for teaching the rules and fundamentals of the activity, promoting teamwork, and maintaining accurate records and paperwork. Key Responsibilities Provide instruction and leadership for students in a sport or activity, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture. Teach students the rules and fundamentals of the activity, adapting instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students, emphasizing the importance of winning and losing graciously. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, paperwork, and budgets, ensuring compliance with district regulations. Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating integrity, respect, and responsibility. Communicate effectively with district schools, parents, and stakeholders through email, phone, and in-person meetings. Participate in mandated training through Global Compliance Network within the first 45 days of employment. Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. CPR Certification and AED training required. Pre-employment medical examination, including tuberculosis clearance, required. Pass a Regional Office of Education Fingerprint/Background Clearance, including Federal Bureau of Investigation. Preferred Qualifications Current employee of Troy CCSD 30C. Related experience in coaching, teaching, or sponsoring extracurricular activities. Previous experience working with students in a similar age group or demographic. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including students, parents, and colleagues. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. Positive and supportive attitude, with a passion for working with students.
