About the Role: Specialist/Senior Specialist - Accounts Payable This part-time remote opportunity is part of our Accounts Payable Group within the Finance Division. As a Specialist/Senior Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to American Airlines while processing payment requests and ensuring SOX compliance. Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry of invoices directly into SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Process transfers of payable items into SAP, maintaining up-to-date records. Identify and validate vendors to be paid, adhering to company policies. Review authorizations to ensure compliance with Asset Authorization Policy. Perform auditing and filing of invoices and AP documents for visibility to a wide client base. Respond to emails in a team of email boxes, providing timely and effective communication. Perform various capabilities/ad-hoc tasks as assigned to achieve office/company goals and business objectives. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School diploma or GED Equivalency. The ability to provide exceptional customer service and meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous accounts payable experience, demonstrating your understanding of financial processes. Prior customer service experience, showcasing your ability to handle diverse customer needs. SAP experience, highlighting your technical skills and adaptability.
