Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Analysis Manager to join our Channel Development/Global Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups across blithequark to support new business initiatives and lead projects with a high-performing team that manages accounting processes for our Channel Development and global retail business. This position is critical to blithequark's success and pioneering efforts within accounting. Key Responsibilities Provide inspirational leadership: communicate vision and strategy for the accounting team and foster a positive environment, instilling trust in leadership and collaboration to achieve business results. Oversee complex areas of accounting: manage accounting processes and provide clients with clear guidance on accounting implications. Enhance and collaborate for continuous process improvement: advise and lead others in the implementation of ideas and innovations to refine existing systems, internal controls, and workflows affecting month-end and quarter-end financial close and reporting. Assist with developing partners and build a high-performing team: mentor and motivate partners to meet business objectives, challenge the status quo, and seek continuous improvement. Engage, retain, and develop high-performing partners to address the needs of a growing business and provide ongoing smart development discussions. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 4+ years of relevant experience in leading accounting projects for a large, global, public organization. Experience working cross-functionally with operations and business teams to implement accounting solutions for new business activities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present accounting results and topics to finance and business leaders in a variety of settings and organizations. Experience with Blackline modules, including accounts, reconciliations, and journals modules. CPA or equivalent public accounting experience or higher. Bachelor's degree required, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience with financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS. Experience with accounting software and systems, including ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights and recommendations.
