We’re a growing business looking for a reliable and detail-oriented accountant to support us with day-to-day bookkeeping, cash flow monitoring, and monthly reporting.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced with small business accounting.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and transactions
Manage and reconcile bank accounts
Prepare monthly cash flow statements
Track accounts receivable/payable
Generate basic financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Suggest improvements to financial processes
Requirements:
Proven experience as an accountant or bookkeeper (Upwork work history preferred)
Proficiency with tools like QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Zoho Books
Strong understanding of cash flow management
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Bonus Skills (not mandatory):
Experience working with remote teams
Familiarity with financial compliance or tax basics in [your country, e.g., US, UK]
Workload & Terms:
Part-time to start (5–10 hrs/week), with potential to grow
Flexible hours
Weekly or bi-weekly updates
Long-term collaboration preferred
