About the Role

As an Account Manager for Retail SMB Business Sales, you'll be at the forefront of introducing our latest 5G products and services to small and medium business customers, addressing their unique needs and challenges. This role involves interacting with customers through various channels, including retail stores, digital platforms, and outbound prospecting. You'll demonstrate the value of our end-to-end technology solutions, driving business growth and energizing our customers' enterprises.

Key Responsibilities


Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and working leads and referrals to drive small business results.
Partner with and mentor Consumer Retail Sales Representatives to drive sales through the retail channel.
Acquire and retain accounts in the small business segment, growing your customer base and expanding our market presence.
Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems for your customers, delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Conduct outbound sales prospecting and customer visits to identify new opportunities and build strong relationships.
Service the needs of our existing customer base, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Leverage sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, and manage your pipeline and book of business.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:


A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Strong people skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts.


Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:


An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or related certifications/college courses.
Outside sales experience, including outbound prospecting.
Wireless sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
