About the Role As an ABA/Autism Therapist with Key Autism Services, you will play a vital role in helping children and adolescents on the autism spectrum achieve their goals and develop essential skills. You will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs, providing one-on-one support to clients in their homes. Your expertise and dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to clients, implementing personalized treatment plans and collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Collaborate with BCBAs to develop and implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining a high level of professionalism and goal-orientation Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality services Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting 1 year of ABA experience, or 1-2 years of experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation, a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that require fine and gross motor skills Registered Behavioral Certification (RBT) or willingness to obtain it with our assistance Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with children on the autism spectrum Knowledge of ABA principles and practices Previous experience working in a home-based setting Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Commitment to delivering high-quality services and supporting the growth and development of clients Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Career Growth Opportunities: At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
