Job Overview We are seeking motivated and passionate ABA Therapists to join our growing team in Conyers, GA. As an ABA Therapist with Key Autism Services, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and dynamic environment, implementing ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients, is able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents on the autism spectrum Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions and maintain accurate records Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans as established by a BCBA Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications: High School diploma or GED Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification or willingness to obtain Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families University partnerships, supervision, practicum, and mentoring experience Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the ongoing learning and professional growth of our team members.
