Job Description We are seeking an experienced ABA Behavior Therapist to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a critical role in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy and counseling programs for children with ASD. This is a remote work opportunity, offering the flexibility and freedom to work from home while making a significant impact in the lives of our clients. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using discrete trials and other ABA techniques to promote learning and growth. Work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, maintaining professionalism in all aspects of your work. Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to punctuality and reliability. Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred. Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting. 1-year ABA Experience, or equivalent experience in a related field. Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to lift up to 35lbs. Physical Requirements: Employee must be able to lift up to 35lbs, perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time. Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
