Key Responsibilities As a 3D Content Creator for Apple Vision Pro - Retail Environments, your primary responsibilities will include: Creating and Optimizing 3D Models: Design and optimize high-quality 3D models and photo-real environments for the Apple Vision Pro platform, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and technical requirements. Model Conversion and Optimization: Convert high-polygon 3ds Max scenes and models into optimized, real-time ready assets, with a focus on performance and visual fidelity. UV Unwrapping and Texture Baking: Perform efficient UV unwrapping and texture baking to ensure optimized models that meet performance requirements. Texture Creation and Editing: Create and edit textures to maintain visual fidelity while meeting performance requirements, utilizing software such as Substance Painter and Photoshop. Implementation and Collaboration: Implement 3D assets into Reality Composer Pro projects, and collaborate with developers and designers to ensure 3D content meets both aesthetic and technical requirements. Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest 3D modeling techniques and optimization strategies for AR/VR platforms, continuously improving your skills and knowledge. Required Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you'll need: 5+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modeling and texturing for real-time applications. Proficiency in 3ds Max: Strong proficiency in 3ds Max, with a deep understanding of its tools and features. UV Unwrapping and Texture Baking: Strong skills in UV unwrapping and texture baking, with a focus on optimization. Reality Composer Pro: Experience with Reality Composer Pro, with a plus for experience with Unity and Unreal Engine. Texturing Software: Proficiency in texturing software such as Substance Painter and Photoshop. Optimization Techniques: Understanding of optimization techniques for mobile and AR/VR platforms. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to match reference materials. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Architectural or Retail Space Visualization: Experience with architectural, visual merchandising, or retail space visualization. PBR Workflows: Knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows. AR/VR Design Principles: Understanding of AR/VR design principles and constraints.
