Executive Director, Medicare & Retirement - Remote Opportunity in VA, WV, or MD

In this critical leadership role, you will oversee multiple clinical programs and business development initiatives, focusing on Medicare Advantage populations in Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, improving quality ratings, and fostering strong relationships with external partners, including providers and brokers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing provider engagement strategies to achieve quality, affordability, and member satisfaction goals
Leading growth and retention initiatives, in partnership with our distribution channels, to drive business expansion and improve member outcomes
Defining and executing a comprehensive Stars strategy to achieve exceptional quality ratings and improve member experience
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including local health plan teams, network, market medical directors, and Optum partners, to drive business results and improve health outcomes
Identifying and executing affordability opportunities, aligned with market goals, to drive business growth and improve member value
To succeed in this role, you will need:
8+ years of experience in a large, complex healthcare or managed care organization, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility and accountability
5+ years of management experience, with direct reports, and a demonstrated ability to drive performance and results
In-depth knowledge of healthcare providers, networks, CMS Star ratings, HEDIS measures, Part D, and clinical quality
Demonstrated success in building relationships with external executives and stakeholders, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to drive business growth and improvement
We offer a competitive salary range of $124,500 to $239,400 annually, based on full-time employment, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
