Role Overview The Executive Vice President (EVP) will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the Company’s expansion across the Nordics and Middle East. This role is responsible for driving regional growth strategy, enabling market entry and scale, and ensuring alignment with the Company’s global operating model. Operating within a global matrix structure, the EVP will partner closely with global functional leaders across Delivery, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate functions to establish a scalable, high-performing regional footprint. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring deep expertise in market expansion, infrastructure development, and cross-regional execution within a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Expansion Strategy Define and execute the Nordics expansion strategy, with a focus on scalable, long-term growth Lead the Middle East “land and expand” strategy, identifying entry points and growth pathways Assess market opportunities, risks, and competitive positioning across both regions Align regional strategies with the Company’s global growth ambitions 2. Organisation & Operating Model Design Design and implement the regional organisational strategy across Nordics and Middle East Ensure alignment with the Company’s global matrix operating model Build scalable structures that enable rapid growth while maintaining operational excellence Partner with global leadership to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and governance 3. Land, Power & Infrastructure Enablement Support and guide land acquisition and power strategy across both regions Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to unlock critical infrastructure Ensure alignment with development timelines and investment priorities 4. Operations Strategy (Nordics – Finland Focus) Partner with the Global Operations Lead to define and implement the Finland operations strategy Evaluate and recommend insource vs outsource models Ensure operational readiness aligned with delivery timelines and customer expectations 5. Go-To-Market & Execution Support the go-to-market strategy for Finland and broader Nordic expansion Drive execution in partnership with global Commercial and Operations teams Ensure strong alignment between product offering, customer demand, and operational capability 6. End-to-End Process Optimisation Provide strategic input into the Company’s end-to-end operating model Leverage regional experience to improve processes across: Development Delivery Operations Commercial engagement Drive continuous improvement and scalability across global processes Key Outcomes / Success Measures Successful entry and expansion in priority Nordic and Middle East markets Scalable regional operating model aligned to global structure Secured land and power enabling development pipeline Operational readiness and execution in Finland Effective go-to-market execution with strong commercial traction Tangible improvements to global end-to-end processes Experience & Background Proven experience in regional expansion and market entry (Nordics and/or Middle East preferred) Strong background in data centres, infrastructure, energy, or hyperscale environments Demonstrated success operating within a global matrix organisation Experience in land acquisition, infrastructure development, or large-scale projects Strong commercial and operational acumen Ability to operate strategically while driving execution Leadership Profile Strategic, commercially minded, and execution-focused Comfortable operating in ambiguity and high-growth environments Strong stakeholder management across global and regional teams Builds and scales high-performing organisations Collaborative, with a “win together” mindset DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
