In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and optimizing user interfaces, contributing to design discussions, and delivering high-quality front-end code. If you’re passionate about creating seamless, user-friendly web experiences and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain responsive, high-quality front-end applications using React and Next.js.Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement and enhance UI/UX across projects.Optimize front-end performance, ensuring applications are fast, accessible.Write clean, modular, and reusable code while adhering to industry best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across browsers and devices.Participate actively in code reviews, team meetings.Must-Have QualificationsExperience with React and Next.js: Proficiency in building applications with React and/or Next.js, with a solid understanding of core concepts like hooks, server-side rendering, and static site generation.HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Expertise: Strong foundational skills in HTML, CSS (including frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Styled Components), and JavaScript/ES6+.Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.Version Control (Git): Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.Problem Solving and Communication: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, with good written and verbal communication skills.Nice-to-Have SkillsFamiliarity with TypeScript and experience using it in a Next.js environment.Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks, such as Jest or Cypress.Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) or React Query.Where:The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.
