Evening Plumbing Dispatcher / Customer Service Specialist (5 PM - 12 AM)

Plumbing Around The Clock Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida (or Remote within Florida) Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Evening Shift) Job Summary Are you an organized, calm, and experienced dispatcher looking for consistent evening hours? Plumbing Around The Clock is a trusted plumbing service provider in Florida, and we are looking for a dedicated Evening Dispatcher to manage our after-hours service calls from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight) EST. This role is critical to ensuring our emergency and late-day clients receive prompt, professional attention. We service the greater Miami-Dade area, and proficiency in Spanish is a major asset! Key Responsibilities • Client Communication: Answer all incoming calls from clients needing plumbing services (residential and commercial). • Service Booking: Accurately gather client and job details, and book appointments directly into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. • Dispatching: Communicate job details clearly and efficiently to our on-call plumbing technicians. • Administrative Support: Prepare and send estimates, invoices, and service-related documents. • Follow-Up: Handle replies to client texts, emails, and general service inquiries. Required Experience & Skills We are seeking a candidate who can hit the ground running. • Experience is Required: Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in dispatching, customer service, or office administration, preferably within a service industry (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage door, etc.). • Language Proficiency (A Must): Flawless, professional English communication (written and verbal). • Bilingual Advantage: Fluency in Spanish is highly valuable, as we serve a significant Spanish-speaking population in Miami-Dade County. • Computer Literacy: Strong basic computer skills, including familiarity with Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and the ability to quickly learn new CRM software.
