Position: ETL Tester
Location: Dallas, TX Onsite (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: Long term contract
Experience: 8 + years
Mandatory skills:
Python (They may ask you to write intermediate level code in Python. Please prepare for this. )

Responsibility:
Use scripting language to construct software artefacts for ETL interfacing with diverse data formats and storage technologies and incorporate them into workflows.
Use large scale workflow orchestration platforms to extend and optimize our automated data ingestion platform for the automation of data loading routines.
Analyze, investigate, and design future data loading and ETL procedures.
Diagnose and resolve problems of data quality and data loading procedures in business-as-usual operations.
Build with AWS services providing the necessary infrastructure, resources and interfaces to enable data loading workflows.
Collaborate with the wider team Infrastructure Engineers in particular to deploy automation.
Prior Experience
Extensive experience with ETL/ELT testing
Prior experience with data analysis and data warehousing and working with customer data platforms
Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal/external data and processes.
Experience extracting and presenting key metrics using data aggregation and dashboards
Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of Oracle, Teradata and SQL server
Experience with Informatica and Alteryx is beneficial.
Knowledge of popular Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure & services e.g. EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, Redshift
Working experience of modern software development fundamentals (e.g., code quality considerations, automated testing, source version control, optimization)
Experience automating API tests.
Web service orchestration experience is beneficial.
Java programming language knowledge is beneficial.
Basic knowledge of Unix is beneficial
Experience with Git or other distributed revision control and source code management.
Experience with tools and frameworks used to implement browser automation: Selenium (preferred).
