Estimator - Bluebeam (Lighting Design) | AU | WFH
Setup and Location: WFH Work Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (AEDT) | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM (PH Time) Employment Type: Full-time What You’ll Do • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects. • Analyse drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine material, labour, and time requirements. • Source, liaise, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. • Assess and manage project risks, allowances, and contingencies in cost planning. • Assist with preparing fee proposals, tenders, and progress claims. • Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to monitor project costs and budget performance. • Review design changes and variations, providing cost impact analysis and updated estimates. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, construction materials, and industry trends Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who: • At least 3+ years’ experience as an Estimator, ideally in residential or light commercial construction. • Understanding of Lighting Control Design is a plus but not required • Understanding of Australian construction standards, codes, and industry practices. • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, CostX, or equivalent) and MS Excel. • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail. • Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier and subcontractor engagement. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Benefits Why You’ll Love Working Here • HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and one free dependent from day one (with option to enroll more) • Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves convertible to cash on your anniversary) • Employee Engagement Activities: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building, and more Let’s Talk If you’re thinking “this sounds like me”—it probably is.
