Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Estate and Trust Department as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including estate and trust administration, tax return preparation, and fiduciary accounting. Responsibilities:
Prepare and review various types of fiduciary income tax returns, including gift tax returns
Conduct tax research projects and analyze complex tax data
Assist with special projects as assigned, including corporate and partnership tax returns
Collaborate with our Estate and Trust Team to deliver exceptional client service
Requirements:
Pursuing an accounting major with a minimum of 150 credit hours
Minimum 3.0 GPA and a strong academic record
Completion of intermediate accounting course(s) and some tax and/or audit course(s) by the time of internship
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong desire to learn and develop professionally, with a motivation to serve clients and be a team player
