What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform a variety of manual tasks in the operation of one or more types of moderately heavy motor equipment
- Operate a Vactor Truck with at least one year of experience
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Assist in various utility-related projects and tasks as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of eighth-grade education, preferably high school graduation or GED
- At least one year of experience operating Equipment Operator II level equipment
- Valid commercial driver's license for the type of equipment operated
- Ability to demonstrate skill in operating heavy motor equipment
- Must meet established medical and physical standards for the class of work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience specifically operating a Vactor Truck
- Additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in public utilities or infrastructure projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
