What you'll do as an Equipment Foreman
ā¢ Lead crews to meet project time-lines
ā¢ Safely operate and control assigned equipment
ā¢ Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
ā¢ Oversee and help with training of crew members
ā¢ Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
ā¢ Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
ā¢ Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
ā¢ Perform work in all weather conditions
ā¢ All other duties as assigned
What you'll need
ā¢ To be 18 years of age or older
ā¢ Authorization to work in the United States for this company
ā¢ Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
ā¢ Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it
ā¢ Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
ā¢ High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
ā¢ At least three years of related experience
ā¢ Previous Foreman experience preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
ā¢ Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
ā¢ Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
