Job Description:
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist with company Human Resource compliance audit for first 2 months of the contract.
ā¢ For the balance of the contract, assist Equal Opportunity Team to carry out key Human Resources work assigned to this team.
ā¢ Identify and analyze complex issues and problems requiring independent judgment and interpretation
ā¢ Assist in the intake review and coordination of EO Team appeal case assignments and scheduling calls between EO Managers and former employees.
ā¢ Create appeal case logs, folders, and creation of cases within the online appeal case management tool.
ā¢ Review and audit of former employee rehire statuses and engage with EO Team members to update information as needed.
ā¢ Review and audit termination case information such as dismissal case files, rehire eligibility reviews, and accuracy of final termination information within HRIS tools.
ā¢ Assist with EO committee work including but not limited to case reviews for meetings, agenda creation, managing case logs, and providing admin support during virtual committee meetings.
ā¢ Create weekly EO report, gather case comparables, and assist with EO database management as needed.
ā¢ Provide assistance to EO Team members as needed.
ā¢ Participate in the design, development, and implementation of special projects as needed.
ā¢ Assist with the improvement of EO processes and systems.
ā¢ Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Experience:
ā¢ Experience conducting employment investigations and/or providing consultation on HR matters preferred.
ā¢ PC proficiency including broad experience with Microsoft 365 Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook required; SAP, NAVEX/EthicsPoint, and/or ServiceNow experience preferred.
ā¢ Must have the ability to professionally interact with employees at all levels of the company.
ā¢ Must be able to understand and effectively apply legal concepts related to the application of the disciplinary process and investigations.
ā¢ Must have strong writing, analysis, and investigative skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal forms.
ā¢ Should be organized and able to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ā¢ Should be able to clearly articulate concepts and perspectives and debate these with HR business partners to reach consistent and equitable conclusions which align with culture and values.
ā¢ Must have the ability to work independently and complete duties in a thorough and efficient manner with a sense of urgency.
Education: Education or work experience in human resources, compliance, equal opportunity, employee relations, or people leadership experience work is strongly preferred.
