Environment Game Artist
Location: Remote Type: Freelance About the Role: The Third Cartel is seeking a highly motivated and talented Environment Background Artist to join our team and help bring our mobile game to life! In this role, you will create stunning, stylized mid-poly environments in Unity based on provided 2D concept art. You’ll have the opportunity to either build environments from scratch or enhance existing Unity scenes, ensuring they align with our artistic vision and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Translate 2D concept sketches into immersive 3D environments in Unity. • Collaborate with the team to refine and enhance existing Unity environments. • Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and aligns with the game’s artistic vision. • Proactively communicate and coordinate to address bugs and technical challenges. • Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion with a focus on quality and efficiency. What We’re Looking For: Must-Have Experience: • Proven experience in Unity development. • Strong portfolio showcasing stylized, mid-poly environment art.
