Job description: Sky's The Limit Marketing, Inc. is looking for an Entry Level Sales Rep with a Business Mindset to join our team in our RVA. The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for new accounts in an events environment.
This person will act as a liaison between our products and the consumer at events in the RVA and surrounding areas. This person will be naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring our product/services to new markets. This is a hybrid position that has training either in person locally, in person at our HQ in Newport News or virtually on Zoom. Must be able to travel to Newport News for cross-training 2-4 times per month as well as daily to the events in the territory.
Responsibilities:
• Contact and qualify leads - Prospect new sales leads and increase brand awareness by hosting face-to-face events. Engage the lead and prepare them for the Products/Services. Connect with as many leads as possible to encourage the purchase of the product offered. Be the point person for your team's sales lead qualification process.
• Manage teams – Stay in close contact with personally trained staff members and create brand awareness, educational opportunities, and performance management. Coordinate in-person meetings and calls to increase retention and quality of performance within the sales team. Have a willingness to consistently learn and develop skillsets necessary to develop into a true leader for a rapidly growing company.
• Customer support – Answer questions and be solution oriented from potential customers questions, identify the issue and make suggestions to increase customer retention.
Requirements:
• Entry Level Position - 18+ years old
• Vehicle & Drivers License Required
• Ability to have face-to-face conversations for 6+ hours a day
• This is not a remote or desk position
• Self-Motivated & Self-Driven
Previous Experience:
• Basic Customer Service, Sales, & Management
• Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques encouraged
• Previous Leadership Experience Preferred
• Understanding of sales performance metrics
