Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail‑oriented individual to join our Eligibility Reconciliation team as an Entry‑Level Remote Data Entry Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between our pharmacy adjudication system and the core enrollment database, ensuring that eligibility records are flawlessly aligned. Your day‑to‑day work will involve investigating discrepancies, correcting records, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners to deliver “green” resolutions—issues that are fully resolved and approved for release.

Key Responsibilities

Eligibility Record Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of pharmacy adjudication eligibility data against the master enrollment package, identifying mismatches and root‑cause factors.
Issue Resolution: Use shared mailboxes and work queues to prioritize and address discrepancies from multiple internal and external sources, ensuring timely closure.
Data Reconciliation: Reconcile eligibility information across multiple systems (e.g., claim processing, member portal, carrier databases) and document corrections accurately.
Report Generation & Review: Generate daily and weekly audit reports, flagging trends and recurring issues for process improvement.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner with members of the Operations, IT, Customer Service, and Provider Relations teams to develop sustainable solutions and share best practices.
Documentation: Maintain precise logs of changes, actions taken, and outcomes in arenaflex’s tracking system, supporting compliance and audit readiness.
Continuous Learning: Stay up‑to‑date with healthcare regulations, eligibility criteria, and internal policy updates to ensure adherence to industry standards.

Essential Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in health informatics or related fields is a plus.
1‑2 years of experience in data analysis, record‑keeping, or a similar administrative role.
Demonstrated experience working within the healthcare industry, preferably with an understanding of eligibility and claims processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, v‑lookups), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with MS Access or other database tools is advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex issues clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Excellent problem‑solving aptitude, analytical mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
Self‑motivation and the ability to thrive in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in eligibility verification, pharmacy adjudication, or benefits administration.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA, HEDIS, and CMS guidelines.
Exposure to workflow management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, or custom ticketing platforms).
Experience with data validation tools or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to automate repetitive tasks.

Core Skills & Competencies

Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect large data sets, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry and record verification to prevent downstream errors.
Customer‑Centric Mindset: Understanding that every data correction directly impacts member experience and provider trust.
Team Collaboration: Comfortable reaching out across functional lines, building relationships, and sharing knowledge.
Time Management: Skillful at juggling competing work queues while meeting service‑level agreements.
Adaptability: Openness to evolving processes, new technologies, and shifting regulatory requirements.
