Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Entry Level Paralegal to join our expanding team. As an Entry Level Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases in state and federal courts, gaining valuable experience and exposure in plaintiff's side class action litigation. This is a full-time position with a flexible, hybrid remote arrangement, allowing for a great work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Provide clerical and research support services to attorneys, including document preparation and review, interviewing clients and witnesses, research, investigations, fact checking, discovery responses, deposition prep and notices, reservation of travel, expense reporting, preparation and filing of legal documents, and trial preparation. Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects. Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, and file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures. Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources, and provide written analysis to attorneys. Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements. Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items. Assist attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings. Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases. Organize, enter, and cross-reference documents in a computerized database. Prepare discovery requests and responses. Assist general counsel in organizing and carrying out special projects as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. The ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: A Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a paralegal role. What We Offer We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
