Entry- Level On-Call Supervisor
Overview
Huntsville Home Care, Inc. is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Entry-Level On-Call Supervisor to over see weekend operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring seamless client care and caregiver support outside of regular business hours. The On-Call Supervisor will respond to incoming calls, fill open caregiver shifts as needed, document all communications in AxisCare, and assist with weekend scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Answer and manage all incoming calls during on-call weekend hours.
⢠Work any open caregiver shifts that are not able to be filled.
⢠Document all communications, shift changes, and actions taken in AxisCare accurately and in real-time.
⢠Coordinate caregiver schedules using AxisCare, ensuring adequate coverage and continuity of care.
⢠Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients and leadership to resolve urgent issues.
⢠Follow established protocols and escalate situations as needed to ensure client and caregiver safety.
⢠Perform other duties as assigned by management to support weekend operations.
Qualifications:
⢠High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or healthcare-related experience preferred.
⢠Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
⢠Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
⢠Comfortable using scheduling software (experience with AxisCare is a plus, but not required).
⢠Reliable transportation, auto insurance and valid drivers license.
⢠Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.
⢠Must be willing and able to work caregiver shifts as needed.
Schedule:
⢠Weekend coverage (Friday evening through Monday morning). Specific hours to be discussed during the interview.
