Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. We are seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to support process control in the production department. This individual should be driven, self-motivated and have strong troubleshooting skills.
Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities:
• Support the transition of new products from the development team to production by overseeing process control.
• Take existing products facing reliability, cost, manufacturability, quality, or performance limitations, and further developing the process to meet specific standards
• Create new processes to further support the quality and reliability of the product
• Analyze production process as a whole to identify bottlenecks and problem areas
• Work closely with quality to write and implement corrective actions
• Create documentation for processes conforming to ISO 9001 standard
• Train production employees on new and existing processes
• Design assembly workstations, tooling, and fixtures for production floor
• Product and Process reliability
• Statistical analysis
• Physical analysis methods
• Analytical work methodology and problem solving
• Other responsibilities as required
Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (required)
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (preferred)
• Extensive experience in Solid Works, modeling and assembly (required)
• Decent understanding of design for production:
-CNC Machining
-3D Printing
-Sheet Metal
• Experience working with power tools (Drill Press, Miter Saw, Circular Saw, Drills, etc.)
• Strong desire to learn
• Understanding of process documentation
• Organized and Detail Oriented
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing processes
• Deep understanding of Excel
• Basic programming experience (C++, VBA in Excel, etc.) (preferred)
• Micro-electronics design and assembly (preferred)
• Understanding of electrical wiring and power
• Test equipment and data acquisition software (LabView preferred)
• Experience with mid to high volume mechanical device manufacturing (preferred)
• Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify
