About the Role: Energy Technician We're seeking an eager and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Energy Technician in Lakewood, New Jersey. As an Energy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in helping residential customers reduce their energy bills by installing energy efficiency measures in their homes. Key Responsibilities: Install energy savings measures, including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats, and electric water heaters Perform minor repairs, such as fixing windows and doors Assist with loading and unloading work trucks, ensuring all equipment and materials are safely transported to and from job sites Maintain a safe and organized job site, adhering to our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction Assist with job site set up and tear down, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow Essential Qualifications: We're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and are willing to learn and grow with our team. While prior experience is not necessary, you'll need to be: Able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Comfortable with physical demands, such as sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods, crawling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or reaching Willing to use repetitive hand motion and basic hand and power tools Able to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds as needed Comfortable working at heights, using ladders up to 3 stories Preferred Qualifications: While not required, having some relevant experience or training in areas such as construction, HVAC, or energy efficiency can be beneficial.
