Entry-Level Area Manager (Remote)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Entry-Level Area Manager to join our team at Amazon. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Amazon associates in a fast-paced distribution warehouse environment. You will be tasked with driving results, mentoring, and developing your team to meet targeted objectives, while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor, manage, and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon associates
Communicate policies to your team and act as the primary source of information for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when required
Develop, implement, and maintain recognition programs
Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe working environment for all associates
Ensure procedures are followed for building security and inventory loss prevention
Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or graduate degree with all requirements completed between May 2022 and August 2024
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to inspire others in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to analyze and dive deep into data to provide insightful, actionable business solutions
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
