We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead strategic customer marketing initiatives that elevate our healthcare technology and customer engagement efforts through industry events, creation of think tanks, and award programs. This role blends strategic planning, operational excellence and creative storytelling to deliver impactful experiences that drive engagement, recognition, and measurable brand reputational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Event Strategy & Execution • Develop and own a comprehensive event marketing strategy for healthcare engagement and technology, including national conferences, webinars, creation of think tanks, and thought leadership forums. • Manage end-to-end event logistics: budgeting, vendor negotiations, speaker coordination, and on-site execution. • Create repeatable frameworks for flagship events and tradeshows to maximize ROI and brand visibility. Awards & Recognition • Identify and secure industry award opportunities (e.g., HIMSS, HealthTech Innovation Awards). • Lead the submission process, crafting compelling narratives and ensuring timely delivery. • Amplify award wins through integrated marketing campaigns and PR initiatives. Marketing Integration • Align event and award strategies with product launches, demand generation, and brand positioning. • Collaborate with product, sales, legal, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging. • Develop content for events and award campaigns (presentations, case studies, press releases). Analytics & Reporting • Define KPIs for events and awards (attendance, engagement, leads, media coverage). • Use data-driven insights to optimize future programs and demonstrate ROI. Leadership • Manage agency partners, and internal cross-functional team members. • Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes. Required Qualifications • 7+ years in marketing, with at least 3 years in event marketing or healthcare technology. • Proven success in managing large-scale events and award programs. • Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills. • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities. • Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and compliance considerations. • Ability to travel for events as needed Preferred Qualifications • Master’s Degree (MBA or MHA) – for leadership and strategic marketing expertise. • Certifications such as: • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) – for event management excellence. • Healthcare Marketing Certification – for industry-specific marketing knowledge. • Digital Marketing Certifications (HubSpot, Google Analytics) – for integrated campaign skills. Education Bachelor’s degree required in one of the following: • Marketing or Communications, Business Administration, or related field. budget management. • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MHA) and certifications such as CMP, healthcare marketing, or digital marketing. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
