Enrollment Eligibility Representative

As an Enrollment Eligibility Representative, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, processing, and maintaining new member(s)/group enrollment information. Position in this function is responsible for preparing, processing and maintaining new members or group enrollments. Position may load new member or group data into the enrollment database & update the database with changes. Position may also respond to member eligibility or group questions & verify enrollment status. Position may work with various types of member correspondence. Position may also be responsible for reconciling eligibility discrepancies, analyzing transactional data & submitting retroactive eligibility changes. Position may also be responsible for inventory control of member and group transactions. This position is full-time for 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. We offer 9 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience • Must be 18 years of age OR Older • 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment using the computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and mouse and keyboarding skills • Flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm EST from Monday - Friday Telecommuting Requirements: • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service Soft Skills: • Analytical thinking to solve complex problems • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
