Enrollment and Outreach Specialist
About the position
The Enrollment and Outreach Specialist at New Destiny serves as the primary contact for referring providers and incoming participants to the organization's rapid-rehousing programs. This role is essential in managing referrals, verifying eligibility, and coordinating with a team of housing navigators to ensure effective service delivery to survivors of domestic violence and homelessness.
Responsibilities
Ā Report available vacancies to referral partners to ensure a steady stream of incoming participants.

Ā Confirm incoming referrals with referring case managers and provide follow-up on the status of the participant's enrollment.

Ā Maintain accurate data regarding enrollment status of referrals.

Ā Conduct outreach to referred clients to provide next steps on program enrollment.
,
Ā Facilitate weekly orientations in English and in Spanish with potential participants to outline program services and participant expectations.
,
Ā Complete homelessness eligibility verification for new referrals and schedule intake appointments with housing navigators for eligible participants.
,
Ā Develop materials related to program eligibility and services to share with referring providers.
,
Ā Provide support in responding to phone and email inquiries from referring agencies, other service providers, and the public regarding rapid-rehousing services, referral process, and related housing questions.

Ā Provide auxiliary support to supervisor and housing navigation team as needed.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Ā 1-3 years' experience in social services, preferably working with populations experiencing domestic violence and/or homelessness.

Ā Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
,
Ā Professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English and in Spanish.
