Duties
ā¢ Represent clients in matters before the IRS, including audits and appeals.
ā¢ Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
ā¢ Analyze financial data and provide insights to clients regarding their tax situations.
ā¢ Assist clients with estate planning strategies, ensuring their financial goals are met while minimizing tax liabilities.
ā¢ Interpret financial reports and provide guidance on debits, credits, and general ledger accounting practices.
ā¢ Utilize accounting software such as Xero for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
ā¢ Write detailed financial reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
ā¢ Stay updated on changes in securities law and tax regulations to ensure accurate representation and advice.
Experience
ā¢ Proven experience as an Enrolled Agent or in a similar role within the accounting or tax preparation field.
ā¢ Strong understanding of financial report interpretation and writing.
ā¢ Familiarity with estate planning principles is preferred.
ā¢ Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, is highly desirable.
ā¢ Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial information effectively.
ā¢ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly to clients.
