English/Math Tutor
We are an After School Program located in Belmont
We servicing school aged children for grades K to 5.
We are currently looking for qualified English&Math Tutors to fill our staff for the new semester. Applicants should have experience working with elementary aged children in an educational or recreational setting. Must have good communication skills, be outgoing, enthusiastic and... creative.
English/Math Tutors Qualifications:.
ā¢ Able to tutor Elementary students( 1st Grade- 5th Grade) in Math or English.
ā¢ Experience tutor school aged children.
ā¢ Applicants with experience with school aged children in an educational environment preferred but not mandatory.
ā¢ Applicants with ECE units and no experience will be considered.
ā¢ Assist students with homework assigned from their elementary schools, as well as provide assistance as needed with Math/English workbooks that our school assigns to them..
ā¢ Must be extremely flexible with work hours, we may ask you to start earlier or stay later on occasion.
ā¢ Monday-Friday from 2:00PM-5:30PM. Applicants who can only work 3- 4 days a week will also be considered.
Mandarin Teacher Qualifications:
ā¢ At least three years teaching in a group classroom setting.
ā¢ Must be a native Mandarin speaker.
ā¢ Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
ā¢ You maybe asked to drive a school van to pick up students from various schools.
ā¢ Must be extremely flexible with work hours, we may ask you to start earlier or stay later on occasion.
ā¢ Must be willing to clean after the students to assure that the classrooms are presentable.

Compensation: $28 to $35 based on experience and position.
