English Transcription & Validation Linguist (US)- Medical/Legal Audio(PHI/PII)
We’re building a dedicated pool of US-based, monolingual English linguists to support ongoing medical and legal transcription projects involving sensitive PHI/PII content. You will listen to call recordings and produce high-accuracy transcripts, including validating and editing AI-assisted drafts when applicable—always following strict client templates and style guides. This is a great fit for detail-oriented transcription professionals who enjoy structured formatting, consistency, and high-quality standards. Requirements: • Transcribe English → English recordings (5–45+ minutes; sometimes multiple files per request). • Validate, edit, and QA transcripts for accuracy, completeness, speaker labeling, and formatting. • Follow client-provided templates, instructions, style guides, and jargon/acronym sheets. • Apply required conventions such as: • Speaker identification and consistent naming • Interpreter labeling (when present) and required timestamp rules • Marking audio gaps when required (e.g., pauses over a specified duration) • PHI/PII handling (including anonymization where instructed) • Deliver final transcripts on time through secure file exchange processes.
