Our restaurant partners, riders and customers are as passionate about food as we are, and if you want to make an impact on millions of users by solving some of the biggest technical challenges at great scale, come on board and join the ride.You will spend time:Working closely with product teams to understand what is needed to support the rapid development of quality products at DeliverooLine managing teams of platform and software engineersFocusing on delivery and stakeholder engagement and management across the engineering organizationContributing to product strategy, setting project goals, and supporting and mentoring your teamBuilding a team of diverse, experienced engineers, helping them scale at a unique paceCreating a learning environment for your team and acting as a mentor for engineers and up and coming leadersImproving and implementing processes and values that scaleRequirements:Experienced in building and guiding multi-skilled teams with a “Platform as Product” mindsetVersatility in various programming languages and infrastructure as code toolsFamiliarity or keen interest in AI-assisted software developmentExcellent grasp of the full software development lifecycle, especially testingExtensive experience with cloud platforms like AWSYour style is collaborative, to encourage your team to improve their ways of workingYou set goals and offer advice, setting your team up for successYou're a natural recruiter, passionate about building your teamLife at DeliverooWe are a growing team, with very large impact, seeking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there.
