About the position

Responsibilities
? Serve as the academic liaison to the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and other STEM departments.

? Develop and implement outreach programs to engage Engineering students and faculty.

? Provide reference services and research consultations to support academic departments.

? Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on trends in academic librarianship and research.

? Contribute to the library profession through research, publication, and participation in professional organizations.

Requirements
? Graduate degree in a STEM discipline and/or ALA-accredited degree in library/information science.

? One year or more of professional working experience in a research library or other academic setting.

? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

? Knowledge and understanding of the data and information needs of engineering researchers.

? Expertise using resources in engineering, computer science, or data science including databases, journals, and preprints.
