Engineering Associate - .NET
Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate - .NET to support Branch & ATM Operations and Monitoring within the Branch Systems and Transformation Technology organization. In this role, you will contribute to the development, monitoring, and support of applications that ensure branch and ATM systems operate reliably across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesHelp monitor branch and ATM application health, alerts, logs, and performance dashboards; assist with triage and issue investigation following established runbooksContribute to development and enhancement of internal tools and monitoring services using .NET, C#, React, SQL, Oracle, or MongoDBAssist in building scripts, dashboards, or lightweight automation to improve monitoring accuracy, event response, or operational workflowsParticipate in incident response activities under guidance from senior team members, including log review, debugging, and documenting findingsSupport the implementation of new features or improvements within branch and ATM applications, focusing on customer experience, reliability, and operational visibilityWork with SQL, Oracle, or Mongo to query data, validate system behavior, or support troubleshooting and reporting tasksAssist with writing and executing unit tests, regression tests, and integration tests to support high-quality releasesMaintain accurate runbooks, troubleshooting notes, configuration details, and operational proceduresParticipate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of branch and ATM monitoring capabilitiesSkills6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education6+ months of hands-on experience writing code in at least one programming language (C#, JavaScript, REACT or Python), demonstrated through academic projects, labs, or internship deliverables6+ months working with .NET or C# development, including building small tools or applications (100-300 lines of code) for coursework, labs, or personal projects6+ months working with relational or NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB), including writing and running basic SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, filtering) for assignments or troubleshooting tasksBasic understanding of front-end development using React or other modern JavaScript frameworksExperience using Git or another version control system in team projects or courseworkDemonstrated troubleshooting skills, such as debugging project code, resolving build errors, analyzing logs, or fixing defects during academic or internship assignmentsExperience integrating or calling RESTful APIs, such as creating simple GET/POST requests, using Postman, or wiring API data into a UI or backend projectExperience using monitoring, logging, or performance dashboards, such as reviewing system logs, interpreting metrics, or analyzing alerts during labs or project workExperience working in Agile or team-based environments, evidenced by participating in standups, sprints, team coding projects, or producing documentation like runbooks, feature notes, or troubleshooting stepsProficiency in Microsoft Office tools, managing email and calendars in Outlook, and building presentations in PowerPointBachelor's in computer science or related field preferred but not requiredBenefitsHealth benefits401(k) PlanPaid time offDisability benefitsLife insurance, critical illness insurance, and accident insuranceParental leaveCritical caregiving leaveDiscounts and savingsCommuter benefitsTuition reimbursementScholarships for dependent childrenAdoption reimbursementCompany OverviewWells Fargo & Company is a financial services firm that provides banking, insurance, investments, and mortgage services.
